Jared Wallis

A versatile creative arts professional with decades of experience performing and teaching in numerous styles and genres, Jared has demonstrated expertise spanning the earliest trumpet music to the most contemporary electro-acoustic pieces.

Jared’s vast musical experience and extensive teaching background make him an ideal instructor for trumpeters of all backgrounds, playing levels, and interests. He is currently a member of the music performance faculty at Ithaca College and the Eastman School of Music.

Jared is a citizen of Cherokee Nation of 

Oklahoma. He is currently based in 

Rochester, NY where he lives with his 

partner and their plant family.
